So this post may be a LITTLE bit late, since we ALL already know that Raf Simons is no longer with Jil Sander. But I believe this was not only a beautiful show but also an inspirational one for the fashion Industry. It showed the passion some have for the industry and how human the art we practice everyday is. The people that attended the show may agree with me, since the top news of the show was the emotion that poured out of not only Raf Simons but of all the people that attended the show.
Going back to the actual show, the designs were full of romantically simplistic lines and filled with creams and blacks that gave all the attention to the lines of the garments. Various commentators compared these garments with an old-school Dior show, with such sensual shapes and elegant lines.

Inspiration: Lana Del Rey
The famous New York- born artist, who seems to have stepped out of an editorial shoot, is great inspiration for this Spring fashion. Lana Del Rey, up and coming artist of this year, is a fashionable mix of glamorous and elegant crossed with rough and punk. The motif for this style is to mix and contrast between feminine and rough, taking advantage of the bright pastels of spring mixed with the classic pearls and leather that seems to never fade out of trend.
